Worship & Music
We are a liturgical church
The Holy Eucharist is the primary focus of our liturgy. The form of our liturgy stems from the Book of Common Prayer which is used by all Episcopal Churches.
We welcome all to Holy Eucharist
Whether you are a person of faith or someone who is still exploring, please know that there is a place at the table for you.
We love music
The richness of our choral music and organ add fullness to our worship and our excellent acoustics provide a wonderful complement to the voices of both choir and congregation.
Music at St. Stephen’s
Choir
Our fine choir rehearses on Thursdays from 7 to 9 PM during a September to May program year. We lead music most every Sunday during the 10 AM worship service, as well as several additional concerts and events throughout the year, including our signature Christmas Concerts each December. New singers are always welcome! Contact Music Minister Brad Schultz for more information.
Concert Series
The unparalleled acoustics of St. Stephen’s sanctuary make our space an ideal venue for recitals and concerts, and the St Stephen’s and greater Belvedere/Tiburon community are devoted supporters of the fine arts. We look forward to welcoming you at a concert soon. Refer to our full calendar for details.
Musical Guests
The award-winning American Bach Soloists have been in residence at St. Stephen’s since their founding here in 1989. St. Stephen’s is also the rehearsal home of the Marin Men’s Chorus and frequently hosts the New Century Chamber Orchestra and Kitka Women’s Vocal Ensemble as well.
