Formation Opportunities for Our Children
Children’s Formation – Sunday Mornings
All young people, from children to teens are supported in their developing relationship with God. For our youngest children, there is nursery and Godly Play, a Montessori-based approach to learning about God and the Church. Elementary and middle school ages experience God’s love through a variety of curricula including Storymakers and Holy Moly, as well as seasonal projects and service opportunities.
Youth Formation and Youth Group
Our youth gather for fun, fellowship, and faith. Most months during the school year, youth meet for social outings, service opportunities, and spiritual conversations. In the summer, youth often travel together for an experience of service or on a pilgrimage.
Nursery
We offer nursery care for infants through pre-school from 9:45 am to 11:15 am. Our space is equipped with soft toys, books, and age-appropriate play material. We incorporate mindfulness and contemplative practices, providing ways for our youngest children to develop a greater sense of God’s presence in their lives and in the world.
Confirmation
Seventh graders and older are invited to begin preparation for diocesan confirmations that are held each May at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
