SUMMARY:Music at St. Stephen's - Organ Concert
DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for the next event in our concert series\, Sunday\, January 18 at 4pm. Chase Olson\, a local organ student who practices at St. Stephen’s frequently when home for breaks and holidays\, is finishing a double degree in organ performance and financial economics from Oberlin College & Conservatory. He currently studies organ with Christa Rakich\, but began his organ study at the Congregational Church of San Mateo with Angela Kraft Cross in 2016\, where he also served as her sabbatical replacement in the summers of 2024 and 2025. Chase has performed at numerous venues across the world\, and was a featured performer in the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston\, South Carolina earlier this year. His program at St. Stephen’s\, which reprises several works from his senior recital\, includes works by Scheidemann\, Sweelinck\, Schildt\, Buxtehude\, and Charles-Marie Widor.

Just bring your inquiring mind and an interest in reflecting upon the Gospel lesson for the upcoming Sunday. \nZoila Schoenbrun starts us off by reading the week’s Collect and Gospel lesson\, followed by time for personal reflection and ending with time for us to share our reactions\, questions\, and other thoughts.
